B.R.I.D.G.E. Nomination Form
Building Roads to Intellectual Diversity and Great Education (B.R.I.D.G.E.) is an intensive, four week residential academic enrichment and leadership program for rising juniors (currently sophomores) who are either first generation college bound, low income, or African American or Latino. B.R.I.D.G.E is an exciting opportunity for students to experience college and receive mentorship and guidance through the college application process. Applicants will be selected based on their leadership qualities, Christian commitment and academic achievement.
You may nominate a scholar using the form below. Please consider students who:
- demonstrate a Christian commitment
- are currently high school sophomores
- reside in the greater Chicago area
- are considering higher education
- show academic and leadership potential
- meet at least one of the following criteria:
- will be the first in their family to go to college
- are low-income
- are African American or Latino
Nominations must be received by Monday, January 19, 2009. Nominations are not required for admission to the program.
